Hey Everyone!

Yes I know that I haven't post in like a year. LOL Well just a little update about me, I stop doing make-up now only because I wasn't making any money. LOL

I am now a flight attendant with Air Canada, I travel to Hong Kong, Shanghai or Beijing at least twice a month because I can speak chinese. I love the job and wouldn't trade it for the world. Not to mention the travel benefits for me and my fiance is great!

Yes I also got engaged! It happened in sept and we went to the church yesterday to get a date. It's going to happen on Oct 18 of 2008. I haven't found a venue yet so hopefully the place that we end up liking will have that date open to us.

So I haven't wrote anything since my last entry. My bf's mom passed away jan 18. It was the worse day ever and till today I think about her everyday.

Things at home weren't the greatest since she passed away. His dad and his sister were having a slient war with me. They would bitch about me to my bf and then I would defend myself to my bf. My bf would fight for me with them. My poor bf was caught in the middle.

I then run away back to singapore to my own family. I have been back here since march 3rd. while here I have been working for loreal and I did some magazine covers as well. All make-up work.

I also been taking a hair cutting course. I'm going to take a full course when i get back to toronto. It always seems that hair stylist always make more money then Make-up Artist. LOL and of course it's always good to be able to do both.

the bf is coming july 22 and I can't wait! I'm so excited that he is coming since i haven't seen him in so long! We are planning to go to Hong Kong too on the way back to Toronto.

Today has to be the worse day of my life. I have been living with my bf's family for the past year and a half or so now. His mom has been fighting Cancer for the past year now. She has already gone though 4 rounds of chemo. She always seems to be doing better each day and today we had the worse news ever.

She got worse and the doctors told us that she only has a few more months to live.

Basically because of the cancer, she has these other cells that are uncurable. These cells are actually more aggressive then the cancer. And normally only 8 out of 1 millon people who has her cancer has a chance of getting these cells. Normally they would treat these cells with a very high dose of chermo but beacuse she is so weak if they do that she will die. So now she is going though a lower dose of chermo to hopefully prolong her life. But they really can't do anything about it at this point. If she didn't have these cells then they would have continued to do treatment on her. But because these cells are very aggressive and uncurable, they can only try to make her as comfortable as they can right now.

We have been crying the whole day, I think that everyone is tired. I only known her for such a short time and I feel so bad. She's so young, like she will never see me and her son get married, never know her grandkids.

We were planning to buy our own place this year but now if she really passes away, I really don't think that we can leave his dad by himself. My bf is really worried about his dad.

He also has a younger sister and she is taking it very hard as well.

I'm writting this as a prayer call out, if any of you are religious, please pray for Alice Sin.

HI all! First of all I haven't updated or really commented much on anyone's journal in a while sorry about that. I have been really busy.

Kindda out of the modelling business now. Been busy because I got a job as a manager of a little jewellry store.

Just brought a car today!!! I'm so excited. It's a Acura 1.6EL. Second hand year 1998. I paid 6650 for it. Asking price was 6995. My bf went along with me if not I wouldn't have known how to tell if I was getting a good car or deal for it.

ok On another note. I'm going to be going to a make-up agency tomorrow to show them my book. There is only 3 big ones in toronto and this is one of them. I don't think that I will get in because I think that my hair skills are not that great yet. But hopefully I will get some good feedback that I can really use to improve myself.

Normally if a starting make-up artist like me gets in I get to assist the big time ones and all of the ones on the website have done soooooooo much! I would do anything to get to assist them.

Hair Salon Job

So tomorrow I'm going to a hair salon to get my hair done for a shoot on monday. My new agency got me this job. I'm not getting paid but I'm getting my hair trim and prints for my book. so I guess that it's ok. And I heard that the salon is well-known.

I will take a pic tomorrow after I have it done. I'm kindda excited. I want to tell them to cut my hair into layers and give me long bangs. I'm so sick of my hair! It's so stick staight and boring.

OK so This is very last min but my friend just invited me to go to Ny with her and stay at the The Waldorf-Astoria for FREE!!!!

So I used my airmiles to get a air ticket and now I'm going on the 6th of july!

I can't wait!! I'm so excited. IS there going to be anyone there that wants to meet up??? I do want to visit some agencys there too.

I would post this on MDC too but my a/c is expired. O well.

On another note I'm going to the beach tomorrow and I brought a new Bikini. It's a big deal to go to a beach in Toronto. haha It's always cold and snowing here!

I don't know if the name is right for me? haha but I think that I agree with the ambitious part. I pretty much am when it comes to make-up. The perfectionist me only comes out when I'm doing make-up. Cos I'm my biggest critic when it comes to my work. Well I guess everyone is.

Ok so me and Anna had the greatest shoot yesterday!!! I'm sure that most of you have already seen the pics on her page or MDC_on_LJ. LOL

I'm so proud of them! My bestest job ever!!! and Anna is a beautifull model anyways so having the right girl is the key here!

On another note. I went to some casting for catalog work today. It was so far from the subway like a 20 min walk and it was so FREAKING WARM!!! Man I was dying. LOL

O look what I brought at Urdan Outfitters in Downtown Toronto today. I know a lot of ppl have it but I love it so much! haha I'm going to wear it to a fashion party that I'm going to tomorrow.

Ok so here it goes! I talked to him again today and again he mentions about Sex and I go ok here's the deal. I want to stay friends with ya cos you are a cool guy. I promise that I will stop wearing tight jeans in front of ya. But you have to stop thinking that we are going to have sex cos it's NEVER going to happen. LOL

O on another note I got a casting for Canadian hair dresser Mag from my new agency and I got it! But they called my agency and told them that they wanted to cut my hair really short so my agency said no. O well. They said that the next month they are shooting bridal so they may use me then. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Ok so I met this guy off friendster. He msged me and turns out he's a model with a pretty good agency in T.O and plus the fact that I found out that he's some host on some Kid's show. He gets to like interview all the superstars and things like that.

ok guys this guy looks so much like justin timberlake it's not even funny! haha and I think that Justin is hot! So obviously I think that this guy is HOT! LOL

Anyways so we meet up for coffee and whatever. I came home and he MSNing me and is like so you didn't invite me for sex? I Was like WTF???!!!!

No sex between friends is my response. He's like ok that's cool so as long as he knows where we stand.

Ok... What??!! yes I have heard that some ppl do sleep around and what not. But to actually meet someone like that is weird for me.

Hey Everyone!!

Guess what??!!! I got myself a new agency!!! I went to a couple of open calls yesterday. Elite was like o we have a girl similar to you but we will talk it over with the booking board. They took some digital pictures and took my measurements.

Guys!! My hips are like 37!!! Shit I'm fat! but the booker who measured me was like ok we will put 36. ok fine.

Then I went to see this other agency. They are called NAM. They loved me. They told me that they could def see me as a working girl and getting sent overseas what not.

But they also measured me at 37. Here's the deal they want me to go on a diet to get my hips to a 35 which I think is MISSION IMPOSSIBLE. Cos I have always been small on top and bigger at the bottom. I will try but it's going to be hard.

They also want me to fix my teeth which has been a problem for all the agencys. I don't mind doing that.

But the thing is I'm already 24 and what international agency will take a new face at 24 I don't know. By the time I get my teeth fixed I may be 25 and shit that's old for modelling. Even though I look BLOODLY YOUNG according to my new booker. I really doubt it.

He told me that he will really try but no promises. o well

ok that's the latest update. We will see what happens with this new agency.

Ok since I can't sleep I'm just going to write about what I am doing next week. LOL like it's going to be so interesting for you guys. O well.

On Monday- Big casting $3000 I know it's not as much as the NY stuff but that's a lot to me! It's for some posters and going to be in some magazines. Don't know what it is for really, my booker only told me that they want girls with clear skin.

On Tuesday- Casting for Fashion Cares for MAC.( Hey anna are you going?)

Wed-Fri- I'm doing make-up for some film. It's not paid but I'm thinking that it's good experience for me. Since it's for special effects and I have learned it in school but I haven't actually used it yet. I have done serveral photo shoots, but that's all fashion stuff.

I will post the pictures when I get them, the make-up for the fashion shoots.

Sat- Rest day hopefully!

Sun- I'm going to this modelling thingy held by IMM in Barrie. Those in MDC would know about them. Her name is Michelle something. Anyways she flying in agents from IMG, DNA and blah blah so I'm going just to check them out. PLus I only have to pay $8! SO that's a good deal huh? But I don't have a ride there so I'm renting a car which will only cost me $30.

On another note. I don't think that I have ever mentioned that I have just broken up with my bf of 6 YEARS!!! Yes SIX years people!

haha don't feel bad. It was my decision cos I don't see myself marrying him. We were just growing in really different directions. It has been little over a month and a week on monday. I haven't spokern to him since and I'm wondering how he is. But I'm afraid to call him as I know that he was really mad at me.

I find that being single really has it's benefits. I have been going on several casual dates recently and I'm having a good time LOL. Not looking for anything right now. Right now I want to concentrate on my make-up and we will see what happens.
